We collect the minimum needed to run an idea board, and we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
When you submit an idea: your name, email address, optional location, and the idea text you write. When you vote or submit: a one-way hashed version of your IP address, used only to limit duplicate votes and submissions — we don't store your raw IP. Our hosting providers (Cloudflare and DigitalOcean) keep standard infrastructure logs.
If your idea is approved for the board, we display your first name, your location (if you gave one), and your idea's title and pitch. Your email address is never shown publicly and is never sold or shared for marketing.
To run the board and voting, moderate submissions, and contact you about your idea — including if it's selected for building. That's it. No advertising trackers, no analytics that identify you, no selling data.
Submissions are stored in our database hosted with DigitalOcean, and the site is served through Cloudflare. Your browser's local storage remembers which ideas you've voted for, on your device only.
